The ownership disclosure.

bestevent.app is owned and operated by Eventee s.r.o., a Czech company that also makes Eventee — one of the 39 vendors we compare. We disclose this on every page in the footer, and prominently on Eventee's own vendor profile.

How we prevent self-favouritism.

The scoring code is forbidden from branching on vendor identity. A static-analysis test in CI scans every commit and rejects any change that references a specific vendor slug (including "eventee") or the is_operator field.

Eventee ranks highly for the segment it actually serves — small to mid-size events, self-service buyers, transparent pricing. For 10,000-attendee trade shows requiring Salesforce, Eventee is filtered out by the hard filters. By design.

The scoring algorithm and test suite are open source. You can run them locally and verify the output.

Affiliate links.

In some cases, a link to a listed vendor may be an affiliate link — meaning bestevent.app could earn a commission if you sign up through it. Whether or not a vendor has an affiliate program has no influence on our methodology, quiz scoring, or rankings.

Sponsored placements.

We don't currently sell placements anywhere on the site. The homepage "App of the Day" is an editorial spotlight that rotates through the directory — not a paid ad. If we ever add a sponsored slot, it'll be clearly labelled "Sponsored", visually distinct from editorial content, and will never affect rankings, scoring, or your quiz results.

Corrections.

Vendors, customers, or anyone can request data corrections by emailing hello@bestevent.app. We review against the source and update within a day if confirmed.
